This is a fun day out down the river to Bradwell beach. We will be leaving the club on the outgoing tide and collecting the Blackwater Flotilla together off Osea pier. We will have our picnic lunch or BBQ on the beach. There will be a RIB to transport you from your boat to the beach so no need for a tender. This is open to cruisers and dinghies.
All members' cruisers, day sailing dinghies and day boats are welcome.

Safety Information
Please use your own tenders to get to and from your boats at the club as there is a low tide. We will be taking a RIB crewed by Rob and Zoe to provide a water taxi service from your boat to Bradwell Beach so no need to tow your tender. The radio channel is 37A(M1), please maintain a listening watch and if in a dinghy, if possible, take a handheld radio. Life jackets or buoyancy aids should be worn at all times while on the water. Bring foul weather clothing, swim wear and towel.
Remember to bring plenty of water to drink because dehydration may be a problem if it is a hot day. Also remember a sun hat and high protection factor sun cream.
