Maldon Harbour Improvement Commisioners (MHIC) are re-instating this event which has proved popular and useful in the past. Everyone interested in safety matters relating to the River Blackwater is invited to attend this open meeting when issues and concerns relating to river safety can be raised and discussed. The meeting is being hosted by the Blackwater Sailing Club at Basin Rd, Heybrideg Basin, CM9 4SD and is jointly organised with the Maldon Harbour Improvement Commissioners. Representatives of Maldon District Council, the River Bailiff, the Essex Police Marine Unit and other agencies will be attending. A full list will follow.
