ABOUT US

We are an active, family‑focused Club of over 1000 members with cruiser and dinghy sailing and racing, kayaking, windsurfing and foiling, stand up paddle boarding and rowing.  We are based in Heybridge Basin on the beautiful Blackwater estuary.

SAILING

Our members can race in our extensive race program, cruise on the Blackwater estuary and beyond, learn to sail on our training lake and gain RYA certification.

From novices to experienced sailors, children & adults, dinghies, yachts, windsurfers and paddlers, all are welcome in our friendly family club.

Our Cadet Section offers training, racing and social events for 8 to 18 year olds, culminating in an annual Cadet Week in the summer holidays.

Every Friday morning, sailors of all levels sail together on the river or lake, lots of fun and friendship guaranteed, followed by tea and cake.

WEATHER WEBCAMS TIDES
