Your BSC Application - what happens next?
All submitted Application forms trigger an automatic invoice based on our individual rates for Adults and Cadets, but please note that this will not yet reflect any discounts for which you may be eligible. Payment is not due until your Membership has been approved.
The Hon. Membership Secretary will contact you by email or by telephone to give you an opportunity to ask any further questions and clarify any outstanding information requirements. If you haven't already visited the club this can also be arranged.
A copy of your Application is displayed on our clubhouse noticeboard for 14 days in accordance with the Club's Articles of Association. New Membership applications are presented by the Hon. Membership Secretary to the next Management Committee Meeting and new applicants are formally 'elected' as Members.
After election any administrative family membership bundles will be created. You will be invoiced, by email, for payment of Membership Subscription Fees and any Boat Charges within 30 days of election to confirm Membership. The adult member designated as the bundle administrator will receive a total Invoice for all the new members in your administrative bundle (you will all share the same Billing group reference).
You will also be able to access all the 'member only' information on our website, bring your boat(s) to the Club and enjoy all that we have to offer. You should bring a copy of your membership confirmation email to the club on your first visit and collect your car parking sticker from the Steward.
