The Commissioners are responsible for maintaining the navigable channel (the fairway), for providing and maintaining the 11 navigation buoys and for collecting harbour dues for the stretch of river from Fullbridge to just upstream of the Heybridge Basin Lock Gates.

All stakeholders and interested persons are welcome to attend the meeting to hear about the work of the Commissioners, to ask questions and discuss relevant matters of interest. To aid the effectiveness of the meeting, questions in advance should be sent to the Clerk to the Commissioners by no later than Monday, 16 September 2019 at the address below.
